Project Summary:
- Collaboration in a multidisciplinary team to develop a parametric 3D BIM model of an infrastructure component (e.g., facade, bridge, or mechanical system) using Autodesk Revit based on 2D construction plans.
- Development of a custom parametric Revit family (.rfa) with nested families for enhanced configurability and visual customizability.
- Implementation of Dynamo scripts for real-time interaction and automation, enabling users to dynamically edit geometry, dimensions, and model configurations. Creation of a BIM Execution Plan (BEP) outlining the use case, data exchange workflow, process map, and technical infrastructure for the project
- Use of desiteMD to develop a 4D construction animation that integrates the project plan into the 3D model and visualizes the construction phases using color coding.
